Description of skills: SETTLE DOWN
The settle down command means “go to a previously chosen spot (a dog bed or quiet corner) and rest there”. It is useful for getting your dog out from under-foot and settled down elsewhere. When the rest of the family is sitting down to a meal, you don’t want your dog going from person to person begging for a handout. When your family is settling down to watch a movie you don’t want your dog begging to play fetch. Instead you can simply move his/her bed into the room with you and ask him/her him to settle down on it.
